Most photographers price by the hour. That sounds reasonable until you do the arithmetic: the meter starts while you're getting ready, and it tends to run out somewhere around the cake.
So the photographs stop right when the room finally relaxes. The dance floor fills, the toasts get loose, someone's grandmother does something nobody expected — and the camera bag is already zipped.
We don't work that way. Coverage starts when your day starts and it ends when the party ends. The last dance, the sparkler exit, whatever the night turns into. You will never be asked whether you'd like to purchase another hour.
What a full day covers
- Getting readyHair and makeup, the details, the room before anyone's dressed. Both parties' preparation, coordinated across locations where the timeline allows.
- First lookIf you're doing one. If you're not, we plan the day around that instead.
- CeremonyFull coverage from processional through recessional, worked out in advance with your officiant and venue.
- PortraitsThe two of you, your families, and your wedding party — run efficiently so you're back with your guests quickly.
- Cocktail hour & receptionRoom details before guests enter, then candids, toasts, first dances, and everything that follows.
- The end of the nightLast dance, exit, and whatever happens after that. This is the part other photographers charge extra for.
